Where they just too far out or not presented with a good shot? Like you said, its nice to be out but yea, lighting up the Citori would have been fun.

It depresses me I havent been able to get my boy out for a Pheasant hunt. I dislike the idea of hunting "put and take" pheasants, but I dont have a dog so trusting to luck to kick something up is pretty low probability. I guess we'll have to make a trip to south dakota or somewhere sometime.

Take him to a farm. There are some good ones out there and he will have a ton of fun and gain some shooting experience.
