Bear River on Oct 26

What's going on with no posts on the waterfowl forum in over two weeks? Are there none of you duck hunting this year? I was out on Unit 2 Friday with these results:

How about the rest of y'all? Doing any good?

Nice! My work has me swamped with mandatory overtime until mid Nov (it started back in mid sept). I have had no time to get out other than helping my wife on her deer hunt. Looks like you had a fun time, I've never hunted BR... always wanted too but never got around to it for whatever reason.

Thanks for posting! I'm glad to see people doing well at the refuge. I was worried that it would be pretty slow there this year due to lack of water. See any swans? I'm sure I'll be there chasing swans before long.

I've been doing okay. I've been going to a few different places, shooting a few birds anywhere I go. My best day so far has been five Gadwalls and one teal, taken at a pond in the middle of the phrag jungle. Haven't seen many geese this year, and haven't even fired a shot at one yet (though that's pretty typical for me).

I'm doing okay for a full-time student, part-time employee, weekend warrior-type of hunter, and I'm absolutely loving my time out there.
