Just saw on fox13 news just now the DWR is planting TM's in 4 new lakes. They only mentioned Joe's Valley on the report but its interesting they are planting them in 4 new lakes! Might have to spend some time learning to catch these huge fish.

Yep that is awesome news for sure. I sent an e-mail to Mr. Cushing to see what 3 bodies of water. I'm thinking Scofield would be one. Curious how the die hard Trout guys will take to this once they find out Trout waters have Tiger Muskie in them. Also no planting size indicated in article. So thinking small fingerlings maybe 5" but these fish can grow with a good forge base 12" per year.

DallanC et al let me know what you'd like to know and I'll help ya out if you're interested in fishing for these fish. They are a lot of fun to chase and learn about.

Just got this back from Mr. Cushing...

"The tiger musky were stocked into Joes Valley Reservoir in the South East Region. The (sic) were also stocked into Bullock in the North East Region and Johnson's in the Southern Region Unfortunately our other tiger musky waters were drawn down so low that stocking was deemed not productive. They were three to five inches and really looked good. Drew"
