Ahhhhh Yes Softwater...

Been having fun this softwater season. Did our yearly trip back to South Dakota to spend time with Mom. Weather wasn't the greatest this trip but we made do helping her and of course fishing the Strayhorse Creek that runs through her property.

Back here in Utah been also having fun also...unfortunately with water levels being low its been a whole different season than any others. Haven't found a behemoth just yet...had a couple on but grrrrr tossed the lure. Been catching other fish and can't believe they chase down these not so tiny lures...

Launching from Anderson Cove Campground (ACCG) to give you an idea on water level...NOT GOOD! Partner in boat as I walk down ramp.

Come a the end of July it will be very interesting if one will be able to launch from ACCG

Living the good life well almost not retired yet...unfortunately will be experiencing in a week and the rest of the fiscal year through the end of September Happy Furlough...every Friday off and then every other Thursday off with a Friday...of course without pay...not fond of not getting paid...but it is what it is and you know what we'll be doing for sure...

Looks like alot of fun, pretty areas! I really need to get out and try for some of those bruisers... still never fished for them.
