Pineview 18 and 20 Jan

Hit the PV hard deck with dubob, Big Earl and Joe. Tooks snowmobile. It was a non-stop fishing day with Big Earl being PV 'The Lion King (Note Hat) angler of the day. He hauled in an beauty 17.5" SMB and a very nice Bull Head. Everyone brought home Perch for the fillet knife. It was a very nice outing with these fine Gents.

Our take home for cleaning and bagging:

Us two gals then headed out Sunday the 20th of Jan in search of some Crappie. Found them in the usual area we've found them before. If I could've kept them hooked we would've ended up with more. Ended up with 5 perfect filleting size Crappie largest went right at 10". Also found more larger Perch largest a titch under 10" with several others pushing 9". Most all other Perch we managed were the duplicate of each other 7.5". It was a fun day but COLD -8 to start then about 2PM wind picked up. When we got off at 4PM truck showed a balmy 14 degrees. Launched from the Port Ramp with snowmobile. Ice is a good 6-7" clear with 2-3" of frozen slush than another 5" of very light fluffy snow. Didn't see any other machines on PV only us. Man those are nice fish! I sooooo wish I could have been there, it still infuriates me I cant get out to ice fish this entire year... all my gear prepped and now I cant get away from work.
