Salt lake area

Hello all. I have been visiting a friend here for the last week or so. I'm from Michigan and the salmon and steelhead are running. Needless to say I'm missing it. My friends wife has a fly rod collecting dust in the basement. I want to maybe hit up a local stream for what ever is biting. Can anyone give me some direction on where to go or what to tie on this time of year.

So it looks like I will hit the weber near 84 and 89. I can't seem to find any fly shops so I will be just throwing nimphs that are here.

Sorry, Weber is too far north of me for fishing. I pick up most of my flys at the larger stores like Sportsmans Warehouse, Cabelas etc etc. There used to be a couple nice small fly shops near me but they all closed up unfortunately.
Some bruiser fish in the Weber for sure.
