10 day vacation

Just returned from San Antonio and Austin.Been gone 10 days.golfed and drove all over the Texas country.What a difference,no mountains just miles and miles of brush,Have family in Austin so it was nice to get away.Wife broke the camera the second day we were there,so no pictures,but got to see tons of whitetail,and those obnoxious ferrel pigs,what a mess they are making.They also have tons of white winged doves that have moved from the rural areas into the cities,much like the E.C.D.s around here.my BIL and I devised a trap,and caught 6 of them and breasted them out.They were great.He said you could take them without a license so I thought we were ok.So before any one jumps on me,it was his fault Anyway nice to come back and have some new posts on here.

That sounds like a good trip. How warm was it down there?

We had sunshine the first 8 days.Temps got into the 80s .The last 2 days it got down into the 20s with freezing rain,but the weather was great other than that.
