COLD!!

It has been so cold that my wife and I start to go to do some shooting or scout around for a new camera and gps and last about 1 hour and go home to hot chocolate,and a blanket.Just cannot get excited enough to stay out in the gloom and cold

I LOVE winter but this bitter cold is not at all fun. Geeze I've been out several times today to put hot water in the chickens water feeder (and the stupid thing *IS* heated). Yea try and do anything with a metal tool... your fingers just ache like mad after a few minutes. Hopefully we will warm up in a few days, they say a storm is headed in.

But yea, I agree... this sucks.

I actually called a hunt off early because I got cold last weekend. That's only happened one other time, and that was when I fell in the water. It certainly hasn't been that cold in awhile.

This morning, 24 degrees felt temperate. I guess I'm finally adjusting.

I went with my neighbor on a late season cow hunt on Saturday. It was -17 in Wellington at 6:00 in the AM. I am ready for springtime.
